Privacy and collection notice.
Aevum Bio Clinic handles personal and health information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This notice explains what we collect through this website and what happens to it.
What we collect on this website
Check your eligibility form: the area of care you are interested in, a description of your situation from a list, your age, state or territory, preferred timing, an optional note, and your name, email address and mobile number.
Online booking: bookings, intake and consent forms and payment are handled by Aevum’s clinical system, Cliniko, under its own privacy terms and Aevum’s clinical record-keeping obligations.
Website analytics and advertising measurement: page views and interactions in aggregate, through Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel. These tools record that a page was viewed, that an enquiry was submitted, and that an online booking was completed, including only whether it was the free introductory call or a paid consultation, so that advertising can be measured. They are not told which service or practitioner you chose, what you selected, what you wrote, or who you are: your answers, your name and your contact details are never sent to an analytics or advertising provider. These tools are switched off until you turn them on, and you can change your mind at any time on our privacy preferences page. Your browser’s own privacy settings and most ad blockers will also stop them. Your choice has no effect on your enquiry, your booking or your care.
Why we collect it
To review whether an Aevum service may be suitable for you, to direct you to the right consultation, to contact you about your enquiry, and to provide and coordinate your care once you become a patient.
Where it goes and how it is stored
Eligibility answers are sent to the Aevum clinical team by encrypted email. Clinical records are held in Aevum’s secure Australian clinical system. Information is only shared with other health providers, pathology services or pharmacies with your consent or where required to provide your care, and otherwise only where the law requires it.
Overseas access
Aevum uses administrative and bookkeeping providers in the Philippines, and authorised overseas staff may access the information they need for their duties. Some of the technology providers Aevum relies on — including hosting, email, analytics and advertising providers — process information outside Australia or are supported from outside Australia. Aevum takes the steps required by law before information is disclosed overseas.
Your choices
You can ask to access or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete an enquiry, by emailing support@aevumbioclinic.com.au or calling (02) 9011 8011.
