What happens on a free 10-minute introductory call?

Booking a first consultation with a clinic you have never used is a real decision. We offer a complimentary 10-minute introductory call, so you can ask your questions first, with no cost and no obligation to book anything further.

What the call is for

The Free 10-Minute Introductory Call is a short conversation about how Aevum works. We explain our weight management and metabolic health, women’s health, and fertility and preconception services, the appointment options in each, who the practitioners are, what the fees are, and how telehealth consultations run.

It is also the place to ask the practical questions that are awkward to put in a booking form. Which consultation fits what is going on for you. What you need to have ready. What happens after the first appointment.

What the call is not

This is an information-only call. It does not include medical advice, diagnosis, prescriptions or treatment, and the person on the call will not assess your symptoms or recommend a treatment.

That is deliberate. A proper clinical assessment needs your full history and enough time to take it, and ten minutes is not that. Any clinical assessment requires a separate paid appointment with an AHPRA-registered practitioner.

How to get the most from ten minutes

Ten minutes goes quickly. Three things help:

Know which area you are asking about: weight and metabolic health, women’s health, or fertility and preconception. If you are not sure, say so, and we will help you work it out.

Write down your questions beforehand, most important first.

Have the pricing page open if cost is part of the decision. Every Aevum fee is published there, so the call can be spent on what the page cannot answer.

After the call

There is nothing to sign and nothing to pay. If you decide to go ahead, you book the consultation that suits you, and before that appointment you will be asked to complete some paperwork and a health questionnaire, so we can better understand your health and prepare for your consultation. If you decide Aevum isn’t quite the right fit for you, that’s absolutely fine too. The purpose of the free introductory call is to help you feel informed, comfortable and confident about your next steps, whatever you decide.
